Madewell Sweater | Blank NYC Suede Skirt |
Marc Fisher Yuna Over the Knee Boot | Johnston & Murphy Bootie
Happy Wednesday ya’ll!! Ok, who can believe that Thanksgiving is 2 weeks away?!?!?! I literally was about to put 3 weeks away and had to stare at the calendar 3 times just to see make sure I was typing it correct 🙂 Soooo…. I thought what better time to share the perfect cozy look for the big day! I LOVED this mustard sweater sooo much! The details are so cute and it’s so comfy! This sweater is by Madewell, comes in three colors and is Under $100! I got a medium in this sweater because it fit a little too snug for me in the small… I love more slouchy sweaters so I sized up 🙂 I paired this look with the Blank NYC suede skirt that I got a few months back at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I am wearing a 28 in this skirt which is one size up from my normal size because it ran small on me due to the fact it was suede.
I also paired this look with the 7 for all mankind velvet ankle skinnies that I have found ON SALE HERE! These skinnies fit like a GLOVE and are not itchy or stuffy like some velvet fabrics can be! I am wearing a size 28 in these jeans too as they ran small on me due to the fabric!
I paired the skirt look with my Burgundy Marc Fisher ‘Yuna’ over the knee boot that also comes in other colors like black! These boots are such a great dupe for the Stuart Weitzman ‘Lowland’ boot at a fraction of the cost! I loved the Burgundy, it was such a rich color and I have had SOOO many compliments on them! The booties I paired with the velvet jeans are the Johnston & Murphy Valerie Bootie.. These booties are sooo adorable! The texture of the boots are incredible and I love the heel!
I wanted a look that you could sort of mix and match through the day from place to place. I don’t know if I am the only one; but as the day progresses the ‘food baby’ continues to grow as do my clothes! So I would start the day in the skirt and by dinner switch to the velvet jeans so I could unbutton them if need be 😉 What are your Thanksgiving traditions?!?
