Happy Thursday ya’ll! Today I am SOOO excited to share about a new amazing company Sedette Sandal Co. I recently discovered this adorable shoe brand on my social media and they are headquartered right here in Raleigh, NC where I am proud to be from! A little background on the company, they were founded in 2016 by Amber Cummings and Ian Sheeley who briefly lived in the Netherlands and fell in love with vintage wooden sandals. The two decided to come back here to the states and create their own line of vintage wooden inspired sandals for all of us to enjoy!
I immediately fell in love with Sedette’s Original Wedge Sandal (20% off Code: Hollyday20). Throughout all of my travels I have really been drawn to more of a European style sandal/shoe and this wedge has it all! I love that the platform is almost uniform in height with a little arch and height to the heel! The wooden base is trending right now for Summer and they go with everything! Gingham is ALWAYS on trend for summer ( I think if the picturesque picnics in movies, that never actually happen 🙂 ). Either way, gingham is hotter than ever this spring going into summer and the black gingham especially so I went with the black and white plaid. They also come in this adorable palm leaf print (it was a hard decision!) All of Sedette’s footwear is also animal-free and vegan! The price point of these adorable wedges is Under $150 which I think is a steal for the quality and craftsmanship!
I paired these adorable wedges with my favorite high rise denim at the moment the Citizens of Humanity Rocket Crop High Rise! These jeans have been my go-to for spring because I love the undone, deconstructed feel of the hemline! This Madewell gingham top stole my heart because of the cute bell sleeves and hi-lo low feel perfect to wear with a pair of shorts, denim or white pants!
I hope you guys will take a second to check out Sedette Sandal Co! They are such an amazing company and one that I am so happy to share because not only are they local, but they are so inspiring! They would also make a great Mother’s Day present 🙂 Also, for a little more Spring inspiration, check out my Spring Craving Tab on the blog with lots of fun finds I have been eyeing!
